The USCIS has updated the form I-129 edition. Starting April 1, 2026, the USCIS will accept only the 02/27/26 edition. In the new edition of the form I-129, the pages used for filing H-1B petitions have been updated to include additional questions regarding the position requirements. Employers need to provide information regarding the educational and experience requirements of the position, as well as provide information regarding any supervisory duties. These questions will be used to ensure the correct wage level has been selected while filing the LCA. For HCAP filings, there is also an added question regarding the wage level, to ensure the wage level at the time of filing matches the wage level used at registration.
