USCIS Announces Increase to Premium Processing Fees to Adjust for Inflation

On Wednesday, December 27th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that it will increase the filing fee for Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing, to adjust for inflation.

The increase will generate an estimated $185 million in revenue, which DHS will use to provide premium processing services; make improvements to adjudications processes; respond to adjudication demands, including reducing benefit request processing backlogs; and otherwise fund USCIS adjudication and naturalization services.

The fee change will go into effect on Feb. 26, 2024. Any Form I-907 postmarked on or after Feb. 26, 2024, must reflect the increased fee amount.
