The January, 2025 visa bulletin has been released. USCIS will be accepting cases this month based on dates for filing, not final action. Changes are as follows for both charts. If a change is not listed here, the date remained the same.

Final Action:

EB2:

  • Rest of World: moved from March 15, 2023, to April 01, 2023.
  • China: moved from March 22, 2020, to April 22, 2020.
  • India: moved from August 01, 2012, to October 01, 2012.
  • Mexico: moved from March 15, 2023, to April 01, 2023.
  • Philippines: moved from March 15, 2023, to April 01, 2023.

EB3:

  • Rest of World: moved from November 15, 2022, to December 01, 2022.
  • China: moved from April 01, 2020, to June 01, 2020.
  • India: moved from November 08, 2012, to December 01, 2012.
  • Mexico: moved from November 15, 2022, to December 01, 2022.

Please note that no category retrogressed. However, the certain religious workers category is unavailable for final action in January, 2025. While the “unavailable” status remains, USCIS is unable to approve any green cards for applicants who have filed under this category.
