USCIS Fee Increases Effective October 3, 2020

$4000 or $4500 Fee to apply to Most H-1B and L-1 Filings for Companies with 50 or More Employees with 50% in Non-immigrant Visas

The Department of Homeland Security has recently announced fee increases for most immigration matters submitted to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

While the fees will be going up by an aggregate of 20% – companies with over 50 employees where the majority are on non-immigrant visas will face the biggest fee increase as a $4,000 fee for H-1B visas and a $4,500 for a L-1 visa will now apply for all initial filings, transfers and extensions.

We are monitoring this situation closely and will update our clients as soon as we know more. Please contact USILAW with any questions. You may reach us via email at info@usilaw.com.
