USCIS Will Accept Reproduced Original Signatures
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced the suspension of Premium Processing for all Form I-129 and I-140 petitions due to the Coronavirus emergency. While this is effective March 20, 2020, it will also include petitions with an earlier post-mark, which the USCIS received today. The USCIS will return the $1440.00 filing fee for such petitions.
Additionally, the USCIS also accept reproduced original signatures or electronically reproduced original signatures. The USCIS has, however, mandated that documents with the original signatures must be retained as the USCIS may request these documents. If these documents are not available when the USCIS request them, it may adversely effect the petition.
